2019 Clutch Baseball Series 2 Pre-Order Bonuses!

Limited Edition Pre-Order Bonus Cards are one of the most exciting parts of order a new set.  Earlier this season, we saw names like Jose Canseco, Ozzie Smith, Frank Robinson and Rickey Henderson as pre-order exclusive for Series 1. Quite a few big bats, right? Well, time to balance things out a bit. This set’s Pre-Order Bonus is centered around elite pitching, with 3 starters, a reliever, and a killer Stadium.

Let’s cut to the chase: for Series 2, with any pre-order over $64.99, you’ll receive ALL FIVE of the Pre-Order Bonus Cards! And, just like we did for Series 1, we’re offering 1/1 Spectrum Variants and 1/9 Shadow Variants for ALL FOUR of the Pre-Order player cards. Let’s take a look at who is included…

Don Newcombe

In 1956, this Brooklyn hurler led the league in wins. Now, that’s not unusual, someone does it every year. But won twenty-seven games. Eighteen of them were complete games, and five of those were shutouts. He struck out 139 batters, had a 3.06 ERA, and won not only the Cy Young award, but the NL MVP award as well.

Fergie Jenkins

This 1991 Hall of Fame inductee won 284 career games and had 3,192 career strikeouts. In 1971, Jenkins was dominant. He threw a complete game in 30 of 39 starts and received a decision in 37 of them, finishing with a 24–13 record (.649). He walked only 37 batters versus 263 strikeouts across 325 innings. He played in the All-Star Game and win the NL Cy Young award. He could rake too; Jenkins also posted a .478 slugging percentage, hitting six home runs and driving in twenty runs in just 115 at-bats.

Pedro Martinez

What can be said about Pedro that hasn’t already been said? Making his second appearance as a Clutch Baseball Limited Edition card, this 1999 season was the stuff of legend, because Martínez became just the 9th modern pitcher to have a second 300-strikeout season. He finished 23–4 with a 2.07 ERA and 313 strikeouts (earning the pitching Triple Crown) in 31 games (29 starts). 🔥

Rollie Fingers

Taking things to the bullpen now, we turn the game over to one of the greatest relievers of all time. The second reliever ever to be elected to the Hall of Fame, Rollie accumulated 341 saves over his near-20-year career. With the Brewers in 1981, he saved 28 games and finished the year with a 1.04 ERA and 0.872 WHIP, earning him the Reliever of the Year, NL Cy Young, and NL MVP award as well.

Whiff City

Last season, we took a trip to Dinger Town for the Pre-Order exclusive stadium. This season, we’re attacking things from the other side of the plate in Whiff City. With effects that reward fireball pitching, this stadium (which represents the total number of strikeouts thrown last season) is a must for those killer rotations and lights-out bullpens out there.

Remember, these cards will be limited to 70 sets and will ship free with any pre-order of $64.99 and above that includes 2019 Series 2 products.

Pre-Orders go live June 16th at 6:16pm ET (5:16 CT / 4:16 MT / 3:16 PT) at the Clutch Baseball Shop.
