This month's challenge will be to make a team using only players/stadiums from a single division. You can pick any division, but you must adhere to the 6000 point limit.

So I started constructing a team using the East...... but I wanted to challenge myself. So I did solely the AL East, with no promo/LE's used. Attached is the roster using the winter online league form. Twenty salary to spare!

Personal Ratings:

Rotation: B- Lineup: A-, Bullpen: C, Bench: D+

Hmmm. I tried viewing it on two different computers (both logged in and not) using both a mac/pc and worked for me. I'll quickly type up the roster while I'm at work.

Rotation: Porcello 460, Stroman 305, Wright 285, Pineda 275, and Severino 270.

Bullpen: Cedeno 205, Ross Jr 195, Betances 180, Clippard 180, Layne 145, Farquhar 90, Boxberger 70, CP: Kimbrel 215

Lineup: Sanchez 545, Moreland 285, Schoop 210, Headley 185, Tulowitzki 265, Betts 470, Bautista 390, Pillar 295, and Carter 235.

Bench: Hardy 100, Castro 75, and Flaherty 50.

Stadium: New York (A).... the only stadium I could see benefiting me since it's negated using New York pitchers.

I was looking on my phone, which probably explains why I couldn't see it.

AL East 2Bs are rough lol. This is one of those divisions that you kinda have to just work with what you have.

This is my effort with the AL West, which I must say is pretty formidable.

I went with NL West, thinking I could get some of my local big-bat Nats going. Didn't happen! I started with Votto and Harper in the lineup, but the more I toyed with it the less I liked the lower-tier Batters I had to balance them out with, not to mention a severe lack of handedness diversity in the lineup. I also tried to use Wrigley, but I couldn't justify paying so much for the A and B speeds available. Thus I went the easy route (MIA) and found lots of positive pitching Clutch.
I think I ended up with an above-average well-rounded lineup and decent enough Defense. My biggest Defensive limiting factor was Catcher, with the highest FLD possible being a 6. I also sacrificed $5 at the end to get a second LHP in the Bullpen -- there are only 2 in the NL East, and one of them is Krol! If I wanted the full $6000 while ignoring Bullpen LHPs, I could go Joaquin Benoit instead of Jerry Blevins.

My lineup vs RHP: 13S, 12L, 12R, 13L, 12R, 12L, 11R, 10L, 10R
My lineup vs LHP: 13S, 12L, 12R, 12L, 12R, 11L, 12R, 11L, 11R

Patiently waiting for the Omar Vizquel 1999 Career Year card - .333/.397/.436 - AS, GG, SB

I'm not going to lie this was really tough with the NL Central.  But I think I got something here. It's interesting to say the least.

@Catastrophe You used two Cubs. The goal is to stick to one division.

@Ahrensku That’s a pretty well balanced team. Solid SPs.
